As a child I spent most of my extracurricular activities attending an after school program for Indigenous children in Toronto, Canada. Basic values and traditions of the Anishinabek people continue to fuel my thinking. My visual language is grounded in traditional culture yet attuned to western aesthetic sensibilities. Working primarily with sculpture and installations I combine hard edge abstraction, organic forms, the hand crafted and the assisted readymade.
