Somewhere between midnight and dawn the glare from the television has receded into blackness. You are staring into the corner of the room. The abyss of night has come but its unusual reassuring stillness is absent. You are left trying to make sense of a whirlpool of colour, dripping as it forms shapes reminiscent of ghosts swimming in a pool of space floating upon the ceiling above you. As the morning hours shift through the night, fear sets in and you can not help but wonder have you affected a permanent mental change?
